In 2011, the idea that became Udacity was sparked when Drs. Sebastian Thrun and Peter Norvig put their Stanford class CS223 “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence” online. In 2014, Udacity launched Nanodegree® programs with project-based curriculum and reviewer feedback alongside online coursework. In 2016, Udacity launched its first Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree program. Today – almost ten years after the first Nanodegree programs – we’re launching the Udacity Generative AI Nanodegree program is launching. To meet the demands of an era where GenAI will reshape nearly every industry and functional area, this program equips technical professionals with essential skills to branch out into this dynamic and rapidly growing field.

• Use image generation models such as Stable Diffusion to perform image inpainting, and
• Build a software program driven by autonomous AI agents.

The Generative AI Nanodegree program has prerequisites of intermediate Python and SQL programming skills and is a more technical and hands-on complement to the Generative AI for Business Leaders course that I teach which launched last month.
